Charles Darwin’s Exhibition
The exhibition “Darwin – Discover the man and the revolutionary theory that changed the course of science and society” was inaugurated in New York City in 2005 and for the first time was brought to São Paulo for The American Museum of Natural History of New York*. This exhibition about the life and the work of this extraordinary British naturalist Charles Darwin is the most complete ever been released. It is an honor to receive it in São Paulo because it is the only country in Latin America that will have the chance to see the work of this brilliant man. It is also the first international performance of this exposition and it takes place an area of 1,220m² and is divided in eight sections that illustrate Darwin’s life, the Beagle expedition and the development of the theory of evolution by natural selection. Brazil was visited by Beagle trip and Darwin used some examples of our biodiversity to help him in his revolutionary theory.
If you want to know more about this meeting, it is being released in the MASP – São Paulo Art Museum, it is situated at the Paulista Avenue, 1578 and will be exposed during the period from 4th May to 15th July.
