The devil wears prada

The previous year the film The devil wears Prada was produced by Wendy Finerman. This film was based into a book written by Lauren Weisberger who narrates her real story when she finishes the university. The character of Miranda is based on Anna Wintour the editor of the magazine Vogue. Actors like Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, who won the Golden Globe, participated.

This film talks about a young woman, Andrea Sachs, who has recently graduated journalism and is looking for a job as second assistant of Miranda Priestly, the editor of Runway magazine.  Andy is not the typically girl who follows the fashion industry but she thinks that if she works for one year at the Runway magazine she will became a journalist on the newspaper New Yorker. During the film, we can see how Miranda deal with her employers. At the end, Andy is not abiding the character of her boss and decides to let the job.

The film shows all the things that Andrea has to put down to satisfy Miranda. The spectators see and feel what she is passing through, and how many efforts she has to do. The irony is that she needs to be on Miranda’s own exclusivity. The ultimate message is that business doesn’t have to be more important that your personal life.

I like it because it is criticizing the fashion industries and this message is transmitted for all the people from the entire world that had read or watched the film.
